Canandaigua, playing its second game in as many days, got off to a fast start with eight goals in the first quarter and cruised to an 18-4 win over Bloomfield-Honeoye Tuesday in Finger Lakes boys lacrosse action.
Once again it was scoring-by-committee for CA as 14 players made the stat sheet. Scoring two goals apiece were Marshall Johnson, Tanner Scharr, Brandon Thomson, Adam Knapton and Bryan Peck.
That’s 10 goals from five different players alone.
The Braves (1-0 in the league, 4-2 overall) led 15-2 at the half.
Nick King made two saves in the first quarter for CA with senior Anthony DeLeo playing the middle quarters and making six saves and LaShawn Williams making two saves in the last quarter.
