Eight different players produced multiple goals as the Canandaigua boys lacrosse team rolled to a 20-3 Finger Lakes League Division I win over Waterloo on Thursday.

CA (6-0 in the league, 7-2 overall) led 10-0 at the end of the first quarter and coasted home from there.

Brandon Thomson led the balanced scoring effort with three goals and two assists. Other two-goal scorers were Deven Alves, Tanner Scharr, Brian Scheetz, Marshall Johnson, Will Johnson, Sam Post and Gannon Osborn.

The usual triumvirate of goalies — Nick King, Anthony DeLeo and LaShawn Williams — combined to make six saves in the nets.

“The boys came out played very well right from the beginning,” said CA coach Ed Mulheron. “That was a key.”

The Braves are ranked 10th in the state in Class B, and today they had to the Buffalo area to take on undefeated and No. 2-ranked Hamburg.
